
Someone Like You
You need another you, alongside you, for when your business needs another you.
You want someone like you, but with a different perspective; someone who has stood where you stand, sweated over similar issues to those which you face now, but knows the detailed background about your business. You want to be tested and taught new things, or your people to be. You want a sort of Non-Executive Director, but you don’t want the formality or cost of a permanent one; just someone of that ilk
to help you when you need it.

Sounding Board
You need a sounding board at your executive level: like a scuba diving buddy for your business.
When you run your own business you are often alone, even though surrounded by your people. Your staff may be excellent, but there are some things you just cannot discuss with them.
Employee Grievance
You need an independent business professional to review and conduct the procedure impartially and objectively.

You have just had a row with an employee. There is no one above you to escalate their grievance to. It could go to tribunal where the handling of it will be judged and the outcome could be very costly.

Employee Engagement
You need someone to come and provide a fresh voice and refresh the engagement between you and employees.
Maybe your engagement with staff generally is not going well. They don’t seem to listen or change their bad habits.



Sabbatical Time
You need an interim or part-time executive to stand in your shoes.
You want to take a sabbatical-type holiday. You have not really had a good one for years. You would love to have someone who understands your business to keep an eye on things for you for a few days each week.
You need help with a business plan or sales strategy and then an experienced executive to guide the implementation for a month or two, but without any long term additional staff cost or commitment from you.
